Dear portal to bw gurus!
When we attempt to import iviews from back end, remote system (abap bw) Get error:
Connection to SAP component system failed; check the system settings
The test connection to BW is successful and the BI help desk support tool reports no errors, all green. Can run BEx queries from iviews that
already existed. Can load queries from bex web analyzer,
But again unable to import new queries from BW abap to iviews in role import in EP Content
Can import roles, just not iviews. SSO from EP to BW is working
This worked in the past, but possibly before last java support stack 4??? We are on BW 7.3.1.4 EP/NW 7.3.1.4. Occurs on DEV and QA systems
Workflow - See screen shots
Goto Content Administration
Browse to Folder to create new iview
Right mouse > new iview > From Remote Source
Enter ABAP BW Connector
Enter *
Press Go
Any help is greatly appreciated! I have put in an OSS note, but hoping for a quicker fix from the community!
Will post answer from SAP or however it gets resolved!!!
