Redirecting Crystal User Temp folders

Our C drive is running out of space. Is there a way to redirect the TEMP folder from the user profile (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp) to a different disc drive ?(let's say d:\AppData\Local\Temp). Windows TEMP Folder is pointing to D:\TEMP. However, if I edit the USER environmental variables to a different driver, Crystal does not work. Is there any specific settings to allow this?
